Bridal Extravaganza and Excitement Hits Karachi with Pantene Bridal Couture Week 2012!

Karachi, Pakistan, March 30 2012: The onset of spring brings with itself the festive seasons of weddings. To add to this excitement, Pantene and Style 360 are collaborating yet again to bring a treat for the Karachiites in the form of Pantene Bridal Couture Week 2012.

The announcement was made in a one a kind press conference. The grand extravaganza will run from 13th to 15th April at Karachi Expo Center. The three days will be a unique mix of fashion show runway, entertainment segments that can enliven any grand wedding and an exciting media package that will be a treat for attendees. According to the organizers, six shows will be held over the three days with 19 designers participating – including many top designers who will be part of a special segment, and designers from India.

'This mega-event will not only showcase the moguls of the industry, but also present a chance to the up-coming names to present their talent and connect with the public', said Nausheen Masud GM Programming Style360. The line-up of the local designers participating in the three-day event in alphabetical order are: Amber, Amir Adnan, Amir Baig, Asifa & Nabeel, Cara by Imran Ikhlaq,Caret Creations by Sheikh Faisal Habib, Hijab by Saba & Misbah, Humayun Alamgir, Mona Imran, Monia Farooqui, Nadia Chotani, Nomi Ansari, Obaid Sheikh, Ruby Shakeel, Saim Ali, Shamaeel Ansari, Tabassum Mughal and Zainab Sajid.

Sharing his thoughts on the event, Faisal Waheed, Brand Manager Pantene said: 'Pantene is one of the leading names in the beauty industry. Pantene Bridal Couture Week is emerging as one of Pakistan's iconic fashion events and we are proud to be associated with it. This platform is not just a means for us to show our support for the booming fashion industry of Pakistan, but it also provides us with an opportunity to build strong, meaningful connections with women across Pakistan.'

Saba Ansari of 'Sabs', who is also Pantene's official partner hair care expert will be putting up a special Hair & Make up show. Additionally, Gutam Rakha, Rahul Rastogi and Shibani Rastogi (Rabani & Rakha) are especially flying in from India with their collection for the event. Amir Adnan, Shamaeel Ansari, Sana Safinanz, HSY, Mehdi, Neelo Allawala, Maheen Khan, Deepak Perwani, Nomi Ansari, Shehla Chatoor, Rizwan Beyg, Kamiar Rokni, Faiza Samee and Umar Sayeed are all going to be part of a special segment that has been designed for this show.

The 3-day fashion shows will be choreographed by the most experienced hand in the industry, Imran Kureishi. Make-up artist through the three days is one of the most respected names in the fashion industry and Pantene's official hair care expert, Saba Ansari of Sabs Salon. There will be special surprise performances in every show including those by Body Beat Recreation Centre.

Forty female and ten male models will be a part of the event this year, which include: Pantene's official brand ambassador Hira Tareen, Iraj, Mehreen Kanwal (Maha), Amna Ilyas, Madiha Mushtaq, Saba Sikandar, Monica Benjamin, Falak Sheikh, Sofia Khan, Sehrish Baqar, Sana Sarfaraz, Tooba, Amna Babar, Gia Ali, Huma Khan, Isra Shafi, Sania Khan , Maryam Hidayatullah, Kanwal Ilyas, Sana Khan, Racheal, Koni , Ayaan , Rabya Chaudry, Sunita Marshall, Zeba Ali, Eshal, Sadaf Kanwal, Saima Haroon, Neha, Sana Sarfaraz, Veronica Patric, Bakhtawar Shah, Saima Azhar, Sofia Mirza, Areeba Habib, Manaal e Fizza , Hifza and Maria Rizvi.
