P&G Pakistan wins FPCCI Awards

Karachi/Islamabad, November 8, 2007: Among more than 400 companies nominated from across Pakistan for FPCCI’s “Brands of the Year Awards”, P&G is proud to have won 2 awards in the shampoo and detergents category for its brands – Pantene and Ariel respectively. The award winners were selected through a series of selection stages based on consumer feedback.
“When P&G started its operations in Pakistan in 1991, it was our goal to become the finest global local consumer goods company operating in the country. Today, we feel privileged that the FPCCI and PSQCA have acknowledged our efforts in improving lives of Pakistani consumers”, said Najia Amin, Manager External Relations Procter and Gamble Pakistan.

Earlier this year, P&G was also named amongst the Top Ten Most Admired Companies in the world by FORTUNE magazine, which is the 15th time the Company has been in the Top 10 since the U.S. survey started in 1983.
