Always Making the Dream of an Aspiring Young Girl Come True Always Karo Yaqeen - Satrangi Collection Launched

Karachi, March 13, 2014: The Always Karo Yaqeen campaign has come back this year with a life-time opportunity for an aspiring, young, female designer to achieve her dream to work at one of the country’s leading Fashion House, Bonanza for their Women’s wear brand - Satrangi. Up-and-coming designer and Always Star Hunt winner, Pooja Achria unveiled the Always Karo Yaqeen - Satrangi Collection at an exclusive event at Port Grand.

Earlier this year, Pooja Achria, a graduate of the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture was selected as the winner of the Always Star Hunt. Drawing inspiration from this, Season 2 of the Always Karo Yaqeen mini-series was recently launched, to inspire millions of other young girls with the belief that they can achieve anything they want to, with hard-work and self-confidence.Commenting on this occasion, P&G Brand Operations Group Manager, Benish Irshad said, “Always aims to be a leading agent of change in Pakistan by making a real and positive difference in the lives of Pakistani women. Pooja’s spirit of determination and enterprise is inspiring and shines through in her collection. Through the Always Karo Yaqeen campaign we aim to bring a message of hope and belief to young girls across the country; that it is possible to achieve your goals and dreams in life - all it takes is the courage and confidence to pursue it along with hard work and perseverance.”

Also present at the launch was the Always brand ambassador and renowned TV and film actress Aamina Sheikh who congratulated Pooja on her achievement and said, “The Always Karo Yaqeen Collection is a testament of Pooja’s vision as a designer. The designs you have just witnessed are the result of Pooja’s perseverance and commitment to her work.” Aamina also commended the Karo Yaqeen initiative saying, “Always Karo Yaqeen is a brilliant platform for young Pakistani women as it gives them the confidence to reach for the stars. I sincerely believe that as Pakistani women, we must support one another in our endeavors to make a place for ourselves in today’s highly competitive environment. The Always Karo Yaqeen initiative does exactly that - it inspires young girls across the country to empower themselves with confidence to achieve their dreams and goals in life.”

Always has partnered with leading Fashion House, Bonanza who has not only taken Pooja into its mentorship program but is also providing her the platform to launch her designer collection. The collection is both contemporary and fresh and will be part of Bonanza’s exclusive prêt wear line, under its womenvs wear brand, Satrangi. Pooja’s work embodies elegance, dignity, confidence and the kind of timeless style every woman yearns for. The collection will be available in all Bonanza stores from April 10, 2014 onwards.

Speaking at the launch, Pooja, who is a graduate of the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture said, “The Always Karo Yaqeen platform has given me the opportunity to further my dream of being a designer. This apprenticeship at Bonanza has been a great learning experience for me and has motivated me to achieve what was seemingly impossible. I am thankful to Always and to Bonanza for giving me this opportunity and believing in me.”
