Pantene Partners with Five Renowned Pakistani Women

PAKISTAN, Karachi, 28 June 2012: Pantene, one of the leading beauty shampoo brands in the world, announced its partnership with five renowned Pakistani women from the entertainment industry. DJ and model Hira Tareen, actress Momal Sheikh, stylist & entrepreneur Saba Ansari, actress, painter & sculptor Sarwat Gillani and VJ Urwa tul Wusqua will work with Pantene to inspire girls studying in colleges and universities across Pakistan to pursue their ambitions.

The announcement was made in a glitzy affair held at Port Grand, amidst media personalities and celebrities. Each ambassador will aim to inspire the Pakistani women through the various avenues on which their work has been showcased. Some are thought leaders whose work is visible for all to see while others are exceptionally brilliant in bringing about outcomes that affect and aspire the masses at large.

Five Pakistani women from the entertainment industry join hands with Pantene to empower young girls in colleges to fulfill their dreams and excel in life.

In the course of their partnership with Pantene, these women will visit top universities across major cities in Pakistan and will share their individual stories with the students. The purpose behind the campaign is to inspire young Pakistani women to have faith in themselves and pursue their dreams with a passion.

Sharing his views at the occasion, Arsalan Siddiqui, Assistant Brand Manager, Pantene said, "We are thrilled to welcome all five ladies into the Pantene family.
