Always School Program

Our Always Feminine School program now reaches over 800,000 million Nigerian girls every year, with education on Feminine Hygiene/puberty and the provision of free Always sanitary towels. With this program, professional nurses educate almost a Million school girls yearly on feminine hygiene and puberty.

P&G’s Pampers Baby Care Hospital Program and Mobile Clinics

Both touch the lives of about 2 million mothers / babies across Nigeria annually. Through the programs, mothers are given free access to medical checks and /or advise. The mobile clinic program is especially important as it is targeted at rural or semi-urban communities in which several new mothers lack easy access to healthcare facilities.

P&G Children’s Safe Drinking Water Program

The Children’s Safe Drinking Water Program (CSDW) which has so far provided over 30 million liters of safe water in Nigeria, thereby helping to reduce the incidence of childhood death caused by drinking unclean water.

Pampers/UNICEF Tetanus Vaccine Program

Our Pampers/UNICEF program has provided over 15 million vaccines to new born mothers and their babies in Nigeria. The impactful program also operates in other African countries and has helped eliminate Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus in Burkina Faso, Ghana, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Senegal and Uganda, actively forging ahead Goal 7 of the MDGs.

Employee volunteering programs

P&G employees volunteer on charitable projects, giving back to the communities where we live and work.

The Building Futures Program

In collaboration with ‘Sponsor a child’, donated P&G products to over 3000 children; developed learn and play centers in 7 orphanages and educated caregivers of at risk children.
