With the Attendance of Football Stars Major Distributors P&G Celebrates Success of its “Partners in Success” Program for Second Consecutive Year

For the second consecutive year, Procter and Gamble Egypt (P&G) celebrated the success of the “Partners in Success” Program that it launched in 2008. The program's objective is to support wholesalers dealing with P&G nationwide, through assisting them in improving their activity and achieving the required success.

The celebration witnessed a lot of surprises including distributing gifts and awards to traders by Wa’el Goma’a, Al-Ahly star; ‘Amr Zaki, Zamalek star; and Islam El-Shater, Haras El-Hudood star. Players expressed their happiness for attending the celebration with this special gathering of traders.

The valuable gifts that were awarded to the wholesalers were in recognition of their efforts in improving their sales objectives and increasing their income. Mohammad Shawky, P&G Sales Manager, stated that the objective of the “Partners in Success” Program is to contribute to improving the wholesalers’ business and increase their sales, in a manner that conforms to P&G’s constant commitment to supporting their partners.

This will result in achieving reciprocal profits for both parties; as it assists in developing wholesalers’ business and at the same time it positively affects P&G sales, Shawky added.

Shawky also pointed out that the nationwide program was launched after completing a nine-month comprehensive study to assess the different needs of wholesalers. The program was designed with a simple structure in order to be fully comprehended and easily implemented in order to achieve the expected outcome. Shawky stated that one of the main reasons behind its success locally and worldwide is due to the partnership between P&G and its wholesalers.

According to him, the program achieved notable growth in P&G’s and wholesalers’ sales. P&G is examining other programs and projects for implementation in the coming period this is part of P&G’s contribution to improving business practices of its wholesalers.

Hossam Ali, Tide, Bonux and Fairy Sales Official, said that this program was designed to serve wholesalers dealing with P&G. Its main idea is to ensure the growth of their business to make them feel P&G’s keenness on supporting them to achieve their business goals that contribute to the increase of P&G’s sales, he added.

Mohsen Qassem, a wholesaler dealing with P&G since the establishment of its activity in Egypt, said unlike other companies, P&G is distinguished by its credibility and honesty in dealing with wholesalers. In addition, he stated that the program gives him “the extra push” to achieve better results.

Engineer Magdi Ahmad, a wholesaler from the Governorate of Fayyoum and one of the wholesalers that won at the ceremony, said that as much as P&G was keen on its success in the Egyptian market, they were also keen on the success of the wholesalers dealing with them. This was achieved through their continuous interaction with the wholesalers and having an open door policy were we can voice our opinions.

Procter & Gamble won the National Award for Excellence in Quality in 2006. P&G manufactures several products that include Ariel, Tide, Lang, Bonux, Downy, Fairy, Camay, Zest, Safeguard, Head & Shoulders, Pantene ProV, Pert Plus, Herbal Essence, Crest, Pampers and Always, as well as Gillette, Oral-B, and Braun.
