A Queen Crowned in a glamorous event

Cairo, 23 April 07 – After weeks of excitement and speculations, the Queen for Pantene Miss Egypt 2007 Ehsan Hatem, 21 year old English teacher, was crowned in a glamorous event held at 6th of October Media City. The new Queen outsmarted and outperformed the other finalists, though all were dazzling and radiant. The first runner up was Radwa Ahmed and second runner up Yara Naoum.

Pantene Miss Egypt is a yearly event and for the fourth consecutive year, Pantene, best-selling hair care brand in the world, sponsored and partnered with this glamorous event, which features some of Egypt’s most beautiful and renowned women. The theme for this year was Shine and Pantene seized each opportunity possible to make each contestant feel like a queen throughout the event.

Pantene was also helping in raising and uplifting the beauty image of the event throughout the preparation phase with the objective of making the Egyptian Beauty Pageant a leading event across the beauty events in the region and the world. The beauty brand was heavily involved in all preparations, and glamorous executions of the event, which were praised by the attendees who commended the efforts that Pantene has been investing in developing this event for the past 4 years.

This year was distinguished due to the wide number of international celebrities and the panel of judges which included prestigious names such as the legendary Middle East Superstar, Sabah who was also given a special award for a lifetime of talent and for her contribution to the entertainment industry. Mr. Detluf Tursies Owner of Miss Germany and Miss Intercontinental, Syrian star and Pantene Beauty Ambassador, Sulaf Fawakhergi, the Editor-in-Chief and Founder of “ELLE Orient” magazine, Desiree Sadek, Mr. Nidal Bashrawy, Mr Hassan Eleish, Mexican ambassador in Egypt, representative from JW Marriott and Miss South Africa 2005, Miss Earth 2005; and last but not least Miss Lebanon 2005.

The Winner received a variety of gifts from different sponsors and a special gift was given to her from Pantene, the official sponsor and partner in the event. In addition to offering the new beauty queen, a year long supply of Pantene products to take care of her hair and beauty; Pantene is offering this year a very special gift. Throughout the different phases of the contestants’ preparations, Pantene asked every girl about the unusual experience that would make her feel extraordinary. Ehsan’s dream was to go to Paris for a day where she can take care of her beauty in the morning, see the Iffel Tower lit at night, enjoy a refined dinner there, then return by the end of the day like the Hollywood stars. Ehsan’s dream will come true with Pantene after the return of the winner from Miss Universe!!!
