Reducing lines and wrinkles (continued)
Another alternative is to use a
vitamin complex containing vitamin E, Pro-Vitamin B5 (panthenol) and
niacinamide. These three key components deliver benefits via the following
mechanisms: Vitamin E, long recognized for its moisturizing and antioxidant
properties; Pro-Vitamin B5 (panthenol) a humectant effective at counteracting
the dryness that often occurs in aging skin; and niacinamide (Vitamin B3),
which in combintaion with these two vitamins increases the rate of skin exfoliation
and increases moisture barrier repair. Because the ingredients are extremly stable
and do not break down in the presense of external factors such as oxygen or light,
their intrinsic benefits can be fully realized when applied to the skin. Additionally,
this complex enhances the skin's beauty while promoting its health. In other words,
it offers outstanding exfoliation benefits, as discussed above with hydroxy acids, while
impoving the condition of the skin's moisture barrier, a function considered by
dermatologists as critical to healthy skin.
