While it may be the glee of knocking over the trash can without you knowing, or simply love, there's a science behind your pet's smile that The Iams® Company has been researching for years. In fact, in 2001, Iams commissioned The Gallup Organization to conduct a survey of more than 1,000 pet owners, asking them about their pets' dental health. The findings? While 65 percent of pet owners believed their pets smiled at them, only 1 in 5 had ever brushed their pets' teeth.
