  • Immediate Client Contact
  • High-Level Responsibility and Ownership
  • Diverse, Sophisticated Legal Work
  • Excellent Quality of Life

A career in Procter & Gamble’s Legal Division offers immediate client contact, sophisticated legal work and the opportunity to grow and develop as a lawyer in a collegial, Fortune 50 business environment. From your first day as a P&G attorney, you will interact directly with your own clients from the business you support. You will listen to client concerns, formulate legal advice and take actions necessary to protect the company’s interests. High-level responsibilities on global acquisitions and divestitures teams are not uncommon for young P&G attorneys. The importance of the work and constant client interaction are coupled with a collegial atmosphere indicative of the company’s core values and principles.

Here at P&G, lawyers help clients and other lawyers achieve goals that drive P&G’s business forward. The ultimate goal is not hours billed or clients wooed, but rather company success and shareholder return. By rotating attorneys through assignments in different disciplines, the company assures itself of well-trained attorneys with an intricate understanding of the business and a breadth of legal knowledge. In addition, attorneys who have rotated through a number of different assignments have the ability to flow to the work and adapt to the ever-changing and growing business. The Procter & Gamble Legal Division is the ideal place for self-motivated individuals with the desire for challenging work and a rewarding atmosphere.

Consider This

New attorneys in Procter & Gamble’s Legal Division are given immediate responsibility for managing the work of a client group. The vast majority of their work comes directly from clients, not in the form of “assignments” or “projects” from more senior attorneys.

Put Your Skills to Work

We have a diverse business law practice. The type of work a new attorney does will vary and depends on the practice area where he or she starts. Our attorneys work on projects ranging from multinational deals to million-dollar advertising disputes. The P&G Legal Division has attorneys who represent specific business units (for example, P&G’s Beauty Care or Health Care unit), as well as attorneys who specialize in particular areas of the law, such as Labor & Employment, Environmental, and Securities.
