P&G's worldwide External Relations organizations manage the communications and relationship with many third parties who help us understand the societies in which we work — and whose opinions and decisions can influence our freedom to operate, the success of our business, and the reputation of our Company and our brands.
The third parties we commonly work with include legislators, regulators, journalists, beauty editors, advertising clearance authorities, medical and veterinary professionals, environmental scientists, consumer associations and nongovernment organizations.
Relationships with third parties provide knowledge and insight which we bring back into the Company, ensuring that all our decisions are made with a full understanding of the needs, concerns and interests of others. We work to ensure these organizations and individuals in turn understand, respect and support the decisions we make and the actions that flow from these decisions.
Third parties could include: Community Relations, Consumer Relations, Corporate Sustainability, Employee Communications, Government Relations, Professional Relations, Public Relations, Regulatory and Scientific Communications.

Advancement opportunities are offered on both paths and the time for advancement is unique to each individual based on the person's interest, the business requirements and the perceived potential of the employee.
