Sales/CBD Customer Business Development

(CBD) is more than mere "selling" — it's a P&G-specific approach which enables us to grow business by working as a "strategic partner" with our accounts, not just as a supplier.

Account Manager

Your first assignment will be as an Account Manager. You learn about your accounts, products, industry, and the Company's business practices.

You'll work closely with your customers, finding ways our products can build their business, increase market share, and improve consumers' lives. Using strategic selling concepts you've developed, you'll make data-based presentations to your accounts. You'll have access to experts in Finance, Marketing and Product Supply to help solve problems or to implement your ideas.
 

Advancement Opportunities

Customer Business Development offers increased responsibility at each level. The length of each assignment is based on your abilities and the opportunities available, of which there are many. When you demonstrate the ability to handle more challenging work, you'll be given assignments with larger, more complex accounts or that offer increased responsibility. New responsibilities can be offered within your current team, or as part of a move to another team. Since CBD people need to be within driving distance of their accounts, your new assignment could require relocation. But any new assignment will be designed to help you improve your skills and prepare you for opportunities to build business and lead people.
