CareersWhat We're Looking For

Marketing
Marketing What We Do

Our marketing objective is to use global success models to build truly world-class brands.

Most marketing jobs in Canada are in the market development organisation, with a mandate to build volume and share on our brands through in-depth consumer and customer understanding.

Core Objectives

  • Local adaptation of global models
  • Consumer insight and understanding
  • Co-marketing with customers
  • Planning and executing local market trial/loyalty programs
  • Local copy development
  • Equity tracking
  • Identifying business-building opportunities
  • Creation of holistic marketing plans

Internship Opportunities

P&G offers summer internships for those students who are interested in the area of marketing. Our internship program is the source of many of our full-time hires. Summer interns will be given the opportunity to work on a particular brand under the supervision of a business manager or category brand manager. There will be a wide variety of activities assigned, which will be designed to provide broad business exposure to all facets of brand management, including analysing business performance, executing product/packaging improvements and promotion development.
Working in Marketing

The environment is one where you work collaboratively in a team environment with top-caliber people from a variety of different functions. Your primary focus is getting to know your consumer and the category in which the brand competes. The marketing role challenges you to use that in-depth knowledge to build the business.
