  
 On June 7, 2005, Procter & Gamble was presented with the Ohio Governor's Minority Business Development Recognition Award for our work with minority business enterprises in 2004. Icy Williams, Associate Director, Corporate Supplier Diversity, accepted on behalf of The Procter & Gamble Company. The presentation was made by the Mr. Doug White of the Ohio Department of Commerce.
This award honors corporations and businesses that have made a significant impact on or have demonstrated innovative ways to foster minority business growth. In calendar year 2004, P&G spent over $61,000,000 with minority business enterprises in Ohio.
P&G continues to work on projects that will improve the lives of the people in our communities and we are delighted to accept this honor from the Ohio Governor's Office.
